KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 – Individuals from low income groups (B40) aged 40 and above, as well as recipients of Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat, will be able to get free health screenings through the Skim Peduli Kesihatan Untuk Kumpulan B40 (PeKa B40), Bernama reports.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced in a video post on his Facebook page last night that no registration is required as individuals can visit the PeKa B40 website to check their eligibility and the locations of the clinics registered under ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd, where they can access the free screenings.

PeKa B40 aims to sustain the health needs of individuals from low income groups by focusing on non-communicable diseases.

Among the benefits of the PeKa B40 health scheme are health screenings, medical aid assistance of up to RM20,000, incentives to complete cancer treatment (RM1,000), and transportation fare incentives of up to RM1,000.
