KLANG, April 2 – Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre (BTMC), KL Fertility Centre, and Amden Capital have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing fertility services and delivering exceptional patient care.

This partnership marks the start of a dynamic collaboration aimed at elevating accessibility, quality, and innovation in fertility services.

Through close collaboration, BTMC and KL Fertility Centre seek to expand access to specialised fertility treatments and offer patients personalised care throughout their fertility journey.

Dr Prashant Nadkarni, medical director of KL Fertility Centre, has expressed his optimism for the promising collaborative opportunities ahead.

“This collaboration expands KL Fertility Centre’s reach, making its high-quality fertility treatments more readily available to patients residing in Klang and its surrounding areas.

“This partnership eliminates the need for lengthy commutes, offering a more convenient path to parenthood by establishing it as a management centre, making it the first option for patients seeking fertility treatment,” he said.

The partnership brings together KL Fertility Centre’s extensive expertise in fertility treatment with BTMC’s commitment to patient care.

Patients will have access to a comprehensive range of services, including In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Egg Freezing (Fertility Preservation), Genetic Testing, and more.

“We are thrilled to partner with BTMC to bring our advanced fertility services closer to the Klang Valley community,” added Dr Prashant.

“This collaboration allows us to further support patients in their journey towards parenthood and help them realize their dreams of building a family.

“We are committed to providing exceptional care and achieving the highest success rates possible.”

Concurrently, BTMC has forged an alliance with Amden Capital to cater to the financial requirements of patients seeking fertility treatments and other medical services not covered by insurance.

“Being the only specialised medical financing provider in Southeast Asia gives Amden Capital valuable insights on how we can customise financing for patients and by doing so we make quality treatment affordable for the masses,” said Ranjit Singh, chief executive officer of Amden Capital.

Jasmine Lau, chief executive officer of BTMC, has emphasised the hospital’s dedication to providing comprehensive health care solutions while prioritising the community’s health needs.

“According to the World Health Organization (WHO) findings, around 17.5 per cent of the adult population — roughly one in six worldwide — experience infertility.

“We see the need to increase quality fertility care and affordable treatments to meet the rising demand of our community.

“By collaborating with KL Fertility Centre, we aim to elevate our services for individuals seeking fertility assistance, ensuring that patients receive the specialised care and support they deserve.

“This effort is in line with our government’s pursuit and encouragement of married couples in our country to address the challenge of an ageing population in Malaysia.

“Partnering with Amden Capital will also provide additional financing options for our patients who are seeking financial aid in areas where insurance companies and other finance providers are unable to cover the medical costs such as fertility treatment, dermatology related cases, maternity, and aesthetics.

“Through this partnership we are further demonstrating our commitment to addressing the community’s health needs comprehensively,” said Lau.

With this strategic partnership, BTMC aims to establish new standards of excellence in fertility care, promoting innovation and cooperation to enhance patient outcomes.

By leveraging the strengths of each facility, BTMC, KL Fertility Centre, and Amden Capital are positioned to create a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families seeking fertility treatment, thereby fostering hope and empowerment within the community.
