Fertility Made Accessible: Cashless IVF With EPF

Sunfert is making possible financial solutions for fertility treatments through the usage of EPF Account 2.

KUALA LUMPUR, August 7 – For couples facing the challenges of infertility, the dream of starting a family can sometimes seem out of reach.

However, thanks to the withdrawal of funds from Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Account 2 for fertility treatment, Sunfert International Fertility Centre has opened up a world of possibilities for couples in need.

This invaluable financial solution has empowered individuals to pursue fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), offering renewed hope and a pathway to parenthood, hassle-free.

“We recognise the financial implications associated with fertility treatments and aim to alleviate the burden for couples seeking assistance.

“The withdrawal of EPF Account 2 has become a lifeline for many couples, offering a viable financial solution.

“With our streamlined payment pathways and dedicated support, we aim to enable couples on their fertility treatment journey, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their dream of starting a family,” said Lakshmi Menon, Sunfert general manager.

Sunfert, a private fertility centre in Malaysia, offers a convenient cashless experience for couples seeking fertility treatments.

Both Malaysians and non-Malaysians who have contributed to EPF are eligible to apply for these treatments.

To qualify, couples must meet certain criteria, including being legally married and providing proof of their marriage certificate.

Additionally, patients should have sufficient savings in their EPF Account 2 to cover expenses such as treatment charges and medications.

The cashless process involves two claims, one after the egg collection procedure and another after the frozen embryo transfer.

By opting for the cashless option, patients are relieved from the need to carry cash. Instead, EPF will directly reimburse the approved amounts to Sunfert.

Patients will only be responsible for any outstanding balance in case of discrepancies. This streamlined approach ensures a hassle-free and efficient payment process, allowing couples to focus on their fertility journey without financial burdens.

For a hassle-free fertility journey, there are two streamlined payment pathways for EPF withdrawal.

With the pay and claim option, patients who finish their treatment can apply for EPF withdrawal, and upon approval, they receive direct reimbursement.

Alternatively, with the cashless option, patients must provide the required documents to demonstrate eligibility for EPF withdrawal before commencing their fertility treatment.

Both payment methods require patients to submit all the necessary documents to EPF in advance.

By providing accessible financial support and a wide range of treatment options, Sunfert has ignited hope for those longing to build a family.

With a focus on efficiency and empathy, Sunfert is dedicated to guiding couples through the process of fertility treatments, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
